Welcome to Refuel Vitality. My name is Joe Giordano, and I am a Certified Health Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. I started this site to help busy, professional men make the best diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices to improve their overall health and regain their vitality.




Early on in my professional career, I was stuck working long hours in a dimly lit cubicle. I rarely spent time outdoors, had trouble sleeping, and the junk food I was eating was making me overweight and lethargic. Most of all, I was losing muscle mass and with it the masculine vitality that gave me the energy to take on the day.

I knew there had to be a better way to live.

So I began researching the optimal diet, food, and lifestyle choices I needed to make in order to feel healthy, strong, energetic, and well… like a man. I tried many different approaches that were based on solid scientific evidence and finally adopted an ancestral diet.

Once I started applying what I was learning about ancestral health and made fundamental changes to my health behaviors, everything in my life began to change for the better.

It became my passion to learn as much as I could and help others, so I studied hard and became a Personal Trainer and Health Coach.

It is now my mission to help men like you achieve optimal health. I’m here to help you make the changes you desire.




As your health coach, I will accompany you on your journey by helping you identify your goals, advising you on the best evidence-based practices in fitness, nutrition, wellness, and helping you overcome obstacles. I will give you the optimal strategies and techniques you will need to keep yourself motivated, focused, and achieving your goals. Make no mistake, I will hold you accountable. I will help you spark the fire of your transformation. But it is all about you: your goals, your dreams, and the life you want to achieve.

The Refuel Vitality health and fitness program uses ancestral diet principles to build achievable lifelong health, along with scientifically-backed training principles that:

  2. Develop a fat-burning metabolism and cardiovascular fitness without spending hours grinding it out on a treadmill.
