The coconut is an amazingly versatile and wonderful food. The healthy fats found in coconut confer a wide variety of health benefits including sustained energy, raising of HDL (Good cholesterol) levels, and antiviral properties.
But as I wrote about in my article “5 Foods Men Should Eat to Boost Testosterone”, the coconut is also a mighty fine testosterone-booster.
Studies have also shown garlic to be a powerful t-booster as well.
The combination of high-quality, high-protein chicken (free-range chicken for optimal testosterone and health benefits) with coconut milk, garlic, and the zest of lime make for a delicious, satiating t-boosting meal.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
4 chicken breasts (or thighs depending on preference)
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup lime juice
2 chopped limes
1 & 1/2 cup of full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tbsp chopped garlic
(Add additional salt & pepper to taste)
Heat coconut oil in the skillet on medium-high.
Add chicken to the heated pan. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until each side has browned slightly and chicken is cooked through or mostly cooked through.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate. Lower heat to medium.
Add lime juice, lime, coconut milk, chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper to the skillet.
Stir the sauce in the skillet.
Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet with the sauce. Cover. Let simmer on medium to medium low for 5 minutes.
Scrape up the remaining coconut milk and lime juice from the skillet and drizzle it over your chicken.
Serve with lots of healthy vegetables.
